Yes to profiling.

When does safety go to far? According to some, the addition of these full body scanners has indeed reached the limit of safety measures. While many others view it as a necessary step to protect our way of life. This hot button topic is exactly why we need to accept profiling as a necessary step in fighting terrorism. I'm so sick and tired of the pretending that we shouldn't profile anybody. The fact is that most people will still look at Muslims s and wonder whether or not they look suspicious before they see a middle aged woman and wonder if she is packing a bomb in her granny panties. I'm sure nobody wants to go the airport and get body searched by a sassy middle aged frump of a woman or a crochety retired sherriff looking for some way to stay useful in society, but since we are so afraid of offending people and the thought of profiling we will continue to be subjected to x-ray scans and other invasive measures.
